Visceral Integration is combined within Structural Integration sessions and is aimed at integrating the visceral system within the entire body. The visceral fascia can get restricted as part of compensation patterns that develop in response to an injury, trauma or habitual patterns of movement and posture.
Start on your path to balance with a 90-minute assessment session. This session includes an analysis of your natural postural alignment and compensation patterns. Observation of how you move your body and gait, and functional movement tests as is required. This session also includes hands-on fascial release treatment, and a conversation on how to move forward from here.
Coughs, colds and infections can affect our ability to breathe, and sometimes it can take a while to feel that you have fully recovered. To be able to breathe freely and comfortably our respiratory system, including its fascia, muscles and surrounding structures need to function optimally. This time of the year can leave us feeling the impact and can create compensation patterns in our posture.
Structural Integration sessions are a great way of freeing up the respiratory muscles and focus on breathing more deeply. An added benefit is the effect on our nervous system, focusing and working with the breath brings a sense of awareness and deep relaxation.
Something to remind us about the importance of our feet, carrying us through life. They are part of our foundation, and if the foundation is not optimal, it can create compensation patterns all the way up the body. So by starting the wake up and open up our feet, we can release more than just our feet!
